Olympic Truce

Every four years, there is a big sports event, The Olympic Games. The first time it started was in ancient Greece. People compete in sports during The Olympic Games. All the players in The Olympic Games are excellent. Every four years we can see many amazing records in The Olympic Games.   

During the competition, we must rely on our own strength to win the game, do not cheat, we just do how much we have .The referee should be fair ，and the players have to make their greatest efforts. We need to have tolerance and to respect each other. Do not hurt each other, just because of an opponent .In the game, we can learn the advantages of others, tolerant the faults of others, and to remind myself not to have made ​​the same mistake!

The Olympic Games is a good opportunity for friendship and peaceful ,you can also learn more about  doing things. It is more important than winning the game!

Chinese New Year

There are lots of holidays in Taiwan. But the most important one is Chinese New Year. At Chinese New Year, each member of the family will go home to get together and have a big meal together. We will talk about what happened this year and share some interesting things with one another. We will also get many “red envelopes” (lucky money) from the elders.  All of the people in Taiwan will go and buy many new things, because it means a new start.  So, everything should be new! Children will set off firecrackers and the elders will paste the Chinese spring couplets, because they think it will drive away evil spirits. Chinese New Year is very important in Taiwan, and we will have a long vacation to celebrate.

Taiwanese Food Culture

Taiwanese food culture has changed a lot . When my grandparents and parents were in there childhoods, they usually ate porridge for breakfast .Later , they started to have more and more choices for their breakfast, like sandwiches, bread, milk, salad, steamed buns, cake, toast, noodles, cookie etc .Right now, for breakfast we usually have what comes across our mind or we just go to a café or the convenience store to buy one. Also, I think pearl milk tea, stinky tofu, pig blood cake can best represent Taiwanese culture!

My Summer Vacation

This summer vacation is a normal vacation as before ,but that made me the most impression  is a trip to Hualian . The first day of the vacation , my family and my friends went  to  Hualian . First , we went to Taroko .The view is very beautiful their , high mountains ,clean water . Next day ,we went to Wushi fishing port ,we saw lots of boat and fishermen , heard of the seafoods is famous and great there . I remembered that the wind is very big ,it is blowing our hair and hat ,and driving us crazy ! We also went to the Butterfly Valley . There are many ecology , lots of butterflies , insects ...... ,it is a very good place for spending holidays there! Wow~ I  had a great trip to Hualian!

Earth Day

On April 22th ,it's an important day for us ,it's ''Earth Day'' .Now , our earth is getting worse every day . Air pollution as well as water pollution is everywhere , and the glacier is melting . The poor polar bears have no home to stay ! Also , the ozone layer is broken .The global warming is serious day by day .It's very scary! What can we do? We can't just watch indifferently . We must do something .Although we are just students , we can pick up garbage,recycle,reduce waste , reuse old things , save electricity .Maybe it's  just a simple action , but it can help the earth a lot.Don't think that a good deed is so small that it is not worth.Many a little makes a mickle. Let's do it to help the earth!!

A Nightmare

Then I saw a monster with long white hair , three eyes ,one ear , sharp teeth , and ten hands . It was floting near and near . Then I screamed ''Help! Help!'' I ran as fast as I could. I tried to open the door , but it was locked. I turned back to the monster. His size was getting bigger.His ear was turning green! In this second I  knew he was a green giant ! Then I opened my eyes .I saw my mom standing beside me. She asked me ''What happend to you ?'' . Then I knew it was just a dream.

A Trip To Janhusun Fancy World

Have you ever played on Freely falling body ?In Janhusun Fancy World , the free-fall ride is ten-floor high.As soon as you get on it , you will regret . It reaches slowly  up to the top , but when you're not paying attention ,it falls so fast that you think your heart is going to freeze and your bump is flying up .Wow! Finally it stops at the half of the air . Then it becomes slower and slower to the ground . What a wonderful experience! But I think I have no guts to go on it again!
